Practice Overview
Melody A. Cook, Esquire is a member of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Litigation Practice. She has concentrated on her career in representing employers, insurance carriers, and insurance administrators in Pennsylvania workers' compensation matters. In addition, she has litigated numerous personal injury claims filed against various self-insured employers. Melody is known for a clear, direct and solution-oriented communication style that supports efficient case management and strong client relationships.
Background
Melody graduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University in 1983, where she became the first female participate in the University’s dual degree program, receiving a combined bachelor’s and master’s degree in political science. She received her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 1986. Melody is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
